How do I customize RSVP settings for certain team member types and/or events?
Team Cowboy includes features that allow you to have complete control over how RSVPs work for your team members. All of the main RSVP settings for your team are managed from the Options tab within the Team Settings page.

You can define default RSVP settings for your team as well as one or more "RSVP Rules" that override the default settings. If no RSVP rules are defined (or none of the rules defined match the situation for a given team member), the default RSVP settings for your team are used.

To define default RSVP settings for your team:
  1. Sign in to your account and select a team where you are a team administrator
  2. Go to the Team Settings page
  3. Click the Options tab
  4. Expand the RSVP Settings and Management section
  5. Expand the Default RSVP Rules section
  6. Select options to define the following:
    1. Which team members can RSVP (any team members, specific team members, or no team members)
    2. Which event types to accept RSVPs for (any event types, specific event types, or no event types)
    3. Which RSVP statuses to accept for your team's events. Note that the "Yes" and "No" RSVPs are required. Other RSVP statuses are optional
    4. Other RSVP settings, such as whether or not team members can indicate that additional players will be at the event and whether there is a limit on the total # of attendees for an event
  7. Click Save Changes

To define one or more custom RSVP rules for your team:
  1. Sign in to your account and select a team where you are a team administrator
  2. Go to the Team Settings page
  3. Click the Options tab
  4. Expand the RSVP Settings and Management section
  5. Expand the Custom RSVP Rules section
  6. Click Add a New RSVP Rule to add a new custom RSVP rule
  7. Fill out the form and define the following:
    1. Which team members can RSVP (all team members or specific team members)
    2. Which event types the RSVP rule applies to (all event types or specific event types)
    3. Which RSVP statuses to show for the selected team member(s) and selected event type(s). The "No" RSVP status and at least one other RSVP status is required.
    4. Select whether or not team members can indicate that additional players will be at the event
  8. Click Save to save your new RSVP rule
